Are these two colors equivalent?

Type any two legal CSS colors. They are parsed here in JavaScript, and the CSS Color 4 algorithm for comparing <color> values is then run on them step by step, showing why they are, or are not, equivalent colors. This is the comparison that style container queries and CSS Transitions use to decide whether a color has changed — and it is not the same question as whether the two colors look alike.
